First of ESO: Trip to York
From Navalmoral out into the big wide world
Our School:
Our secondary school, IES Albalat, is one of three public comprehensive schools in Navalmoral de la Mata, Extremadura, Spain.
At some 450 students, it's not a very big school, but not too small either. It was founded in 2003, and it has grown since -both in size and in reputation.
We are proud to be students and teachers at Albalat Comprehensive School.
Who we are:
We are students of First of ESO -the first year of secondary education- and our teachers, Maite and Joscha.
Some of us are in the bilingual section, some are not. But that doesn't really matter: we all want to see the world.
We live in and around Navalmoral de la Mata, in the north of the province of Cáceres.
This site:
This year, we are going to visit York, a beautiful city with a rich history in Northern England.
It's going to be our first-ever international school trip. That includes our teachers, at least as teachers.
This site is our photo album and our travel journal, a place where we want to share the experience.
